Goblin Ha'

This interesting titled hostelry in Gifford, complete with
attractive road barriers, refers to nearby Yester Castle. 
The castle was built by Hugo de Giffard 
who was (apparently) a powerful Warlock in the 13th 
century. If you are a powerful warlock you don't need to
bother yourself too much with pesky castle building since
you can just make a pact with the Devil and call up an 
army of goblins to build it for you. So this is exactly 
what Hugo did and why the castle is known as the 
Goblin Ha'!
