...an old picnic table looks happier when you dress it up with petunias.

This is a true emergency blip! Last day of Vacation Bible School today, and I didn't have a spare minute to capture a blip. Once again we prepared and served dinner to nearly 200 people. I don't even want to think about how many carrots I have cut up in the last five days...and I don't even like carrots! Looking at the big picture, it has been a great week, and I enjoyed a lot of laughter working with the kitchen crew, but I'm definitely in need of a rest.

When we finished up tonight, Bob and I went out for pasta and a glass of wine. Now I am ready to fall into bed and (hopefully) sleep soundly.

Weather report: Muggy but only in the 80s. Thankfully!
