Stalking

Given the unrelenting heat (another 100+ day today), it's a wonder these stalks haven't started yielding popcorn yet... Am (almost) wishing for the type of weather I see depicted in pictures from UK blippers! ;)

And just to add to the overall misery, we also have to be subjected to the mind-numbing ramblings of politicians from all sides of the isle on the subject du jour: the US debt crisis. In my 30 years in this country, I don't think I've ever observed such polarized, short-sighted debates and such disgraceful lack of respect for the 'common good.'
