Waiting at the tire shop to replace 2 tires on my car before heading down to be with mom post surgery. Weird no one local to do this anymore - sign of the economy - which is playing out on CNN on the waiting room tv ... such cheery news.

Update: Mom's surgery got postponed due to bloodwork issues. Maybe next week. I got the call shortly after this blip and then went back home. Poor mom.
