Fireplace

A bit of a shock to get to my parents' house to discover that their fireplace has gone. I remember them talking about an inglenook but I didn't expect to find this!

The stove before has been retained (somewhere) but the old stone surround has gone. It was tucked away in the corner of the living room (which is 'L-shaped') but it always felt a bit odd. Well, now this whole recess will be used for the fireplace. No doubt I will post a picture of the "after" view.
