Planet Mars

Today has been a real long day. I waited for our computer consultants to set up our new server. They have only been working on it since last December. So why should have I really expected them to be finished today. On top of that, I was preparing for a routine medical procedure tomorrow. No solid foods since last night. Drinking a seemingly endless supply of a liquid. So going out and taking a real picture has been out of the question.

I looked around the condo and found a marble handle on an old ashtray. Reminded me of a planet. Maybe one that Flash Gordon visited. Or probably more likely the Three Stooges. So in between 8 ounce glasses of misery, I blipped the handle. Then into Photoshop for some oversharpening and recoloring. It now looks like something one would see in a very powerful telescope.
