Success!
A lot of washing up and clearing away this morning after last night. It was also good not having to cook with enough leftovers for us to eat!
The calf seems to be improving daily but still fingers crossed. T got him to his feet so it could drink from its mother, it then staggered round its mother to the other side and out into the middle of the pen and back again. It was rather like watching a baby taking its first steps! Its back legs are quite weak but should become stronger with use.
T has been busy working on the combine harvester in preparation for harvest. The filters were blocked with weed seed and had to be taken out and pressure hosed.
The noisy Green Woodpecker, or Yaffle as its called here, has been visiting the lawn looking for ants.
