Pink Garden Art
On the go all day, so I didn't get much time to focus on my Blip. I do try to carry my camera with me wherever I go lately, though ...so, I took a quick shot of a little garden off my mom's deck. She loves pink! I made her the pink post with tea cup (for birdseed or a tealight candle) as a Mother's Day gift. Trailing up the post is a very deep, almost velevty purple Morning Glory vine. The metal planter was handpainted. The lil garden gnome she dug out from a dark corner of her shed earlier this summer, as they seem to be coming back in style. Perhaps the "Gnomeo & Juliet" movie helped along with the fairy gardens we're seeing more of lately. She actually does have a pink flamingo in there, too...but it's a more elegant form than the plastic vintage lawn stakes. This one is on a garden globe holder.
