A ROOF WITH A VIEW

There's a theme running through the Betty's shops, they all seem to have a glass roof somewhere, Ilkley, York & Harrogate all have ornate cupolas similar to the one pictured, Northallerton & Harlow Carr have glass roofs inside the tea rooms, it all seems quite Edwardian both inside & outside, the layout, the waiters & waitresses, the piano playing softly around the rattle of the tea cups. By were civilised up here in the grim North.
