Happy Birthday, Dad!

Happy 72nd birthday to my Dad! I called in this evening to drop off his birthday bottle of Jameson and he agreed to pose for a birthday picture in this natty jacket.

I remember him telling me that his dad, Charlie, used to wind him up as a kid by telling him that he was the cause of the Second World War as he was born only weeks before it started, on 25 July 1939.
