Nice weather for ducks

But not for tomatoes.

It has rained all day today, meaning Conor didn't get his picnic outing at the holiday club, and rain forecast for tomorrow means their trip to an adventure park is cancelled too. Despite all that, they seemed to have another good day.

We had an ok day too, despite the constant drips of water in the attic. The roofers start on Monday... Mainly wallpaper stripping today, then lunch, then a visit from the local Mayor. An email from our lawyers tonight about the guy we bought the house from (a month ago) still wanting to come and get some things out of the house has put me in a grumpy mood. But a Mr B chicken curry helped (though it was a little hot... may have to put in an order with our special supplier for another jar of mild curry powder) and currently a glass of red and a packet of chocolate digestives are helping even more.
