While she was sleeping

Foreveryoung & Eden stayed the night with us last night. Both Eden & Ethan slept pretty well although I'd say Ethan woke first! He started shouting out at 5.30am but kept going quiet for ages, then a shout again, then quiet again ... we didn't end up getting him up till 6.45am and I think Eden woke around about the same time.

We decided to have a chilled out day in the sunshine at my house today. Foreveryoung & I walked down to Sainsburys with Eden & Ethan in the morning and both children had a nap in their pushchairs. We then spent the rest of the day playing in the garden, while hubbie tackled the plants and bushes at the front of the house. They've all got rather large and overgrown so are coming out ... the long term plan is to put a rockery there. However, the roots and trunks of some of them are huge and are proving a problem to get out. So it could be a long term, ongoing project!

We got the paddling pool out late afternoon for Eden and Ethan. Ethan didn't seem too fussed about going in it until he realised Eden was in .... then he got in the pool in a flash!

Mr Foreveryoung joined us for dinner al fresco this evening. A nice end to a nice day.
