Echinacea

We've been having big problems with our internet server all day - it's just come back on, so a quick blip is in order! I blame the weather though Himself says that's not possible.

Grey, drizzly and horribly humid - I think the rest of the country is basking in sunshine but we're in the clouds. I attempted to go down to Kilcrohane market but the drizzle was too persistent. Had a very useful weed and sort in the polytunnel then did some mass clearing and weeding. The onions are now all pulled and drying and the garlic is plaited - rather inexpertly.

Caught up with the papers. The news is very bleak. The tragedy in Norway is deeply shocking and upsetting. So very hard to understand.

On a lighter note, off to watch the last installment of True Blood 3 - outrageous, hilarious, disturbing, blood soaked, sex-filled, bad-mouthed and not a great advertisement for the Deep South! The special effects guys must have had a brilliant time. it does have the best opening titles ever.

Oh, and the echinacea is looking very alien - extraordinary patterns.
