Love casts out fear
1. Up at a proper time, a coffee in bed and the green book out to make some plans.
2. A long run through the 3 parks, feeling an improvement.
3. Out for a walk in the sunshine with mum; first we stop in at Puppies, a pop up print shop run by Diane, then we stroll round the markets just seeing what's what at the Merchant City Festival followed by a tasty late lunch in Berits and Brown. It's like being on holiday. Hold on - I am on holiday - at least for an hour or two more.
4. We walk to river in search of the Cathedral to see Howson's portrait of Saint John Ogilivie. Beside the church there is a walled memorial garden with a fountain in the middle of mirrors and each one is engraved with a quote about peace and forgiveness. It's just the two of us here, the sun shines and it's easy to block out the other sounds of the city with the sound of the water flowing.
5. Home. A face tingling with the sun.
