Another subdued day here, not helped by miserable weather. Late breakfast of fresh rolls, then to the National Gallery and the History Museum, just getting home before the heavens opened - again. I was hoping it would brighten up late afternoon and I could get out to blip something else, but it has been raining solidly for 4 1/2 hours now.

I never used to have strong feelings either way about seagulls, but there is a raucous male who seems to have claimed a rooftop opposite our bedroom window as he territory (are they territorial) and who insists on defending it as noisily as possible in the early hours of the morning.

Anyway, the bird in the picture is doing a good job of embarrassing that gryphon.
