Wanaka, and Sunny

Today in New Zealand there has been very bad weather nearly everywhere, except Wanaka. Queenstown, only 45 mins drive away, lots of snow, closed roads, closed airport. We basked in (cold) sun.

However, we didn't go skiing, we had a lazy day. Feeding and Alpacas, shopping in town, buying new skis, lunch at the pub, card games, soccer, spa pool (in the snow as it arrived early evening) and a lovely dinner, followed by marshmallows over an outdoor fire

Yep, fab day!
