RAF Red Arrows

OK, not with red, white and blue smoke trailing but its them ... the 9 BAe Hawks of the famous RAF Red Arrows Aerobatic display taken from my house as they left Aberdeen Dyce en route to Peterhead to do a display.

I had the camera all set up on the tripod and then the suddenly they all appeared low and fast over the trees and I had to quickly release the camera and shot hand held as they passed ... they then went into the cloud just as they were turning their smoke on. I'm quite pleased to get the shot from home.

Hope the folks at Peterhead get to see a great display and maybe post some blips?

The team is due back at Aberdeen at 19:28 tonight, then nightstopping at Dyce with an 08:40 departure tomorrow ... maybe some folks will get some pics of them landing or taking off again.
