Still not all there.

That whiskey did help a lot! Didn't help me sleep, didn't help the coughing and spluttering nor the soreness in the throat. But it helped! I'm thinking...I just didn't mind as much!

It was just as well I had it ta calm the nerves, for I installed the new Mac OSX Lion late last night. Big mistake. Yes it's a cheap upgrade, £20 instead of the Window £100's upgrades, but problem is, not every other software company is bothering to keep up to speed with Apple. Those that have, I need to upgrade overnight to their latest version, and it's all going to cost me £££££s! Not happy.

Blindly trusted Apple I suppose. Read all the great blurb, how good it was...didn't spend too much time tracking down the problems. All the reviews just read Fab Fab Fab, Buy Buy Buy! I know, if you asked me to jump off the pier, would I just do it? So I do take some of the blame, but I just made a point on the Apple Forums that maybe during installation, Apple could pop a window warning that PowerPC programs are no longer supported and will not work, and you'd have thought I just shot the President!

I was called Stone Age! A Neanderthal for goodness sake! Some of these geeks have their heads right up their own sunshine receptors!....and obvioulsy have too much money burning a hole in their pockets, so enjoy spending it all on software upgrades.

You can imagine, in my current state, I was not up to a full on fight otherwise I may have given them a piece of my mind. Thankfully, the whiskey kept me calm. And today, I still not feeling all there yet, not sure how much is the virus and how much the whiskey. But off to Cornwall to see my bro for a few days tomorrow night....yippee!
