No 93: Common Sandpiper
This little wader is quite a regular sighting at a nearby reservoir, but it's quite an inaccessible spot, so I've always had better photos to blip from this location. Today it gets its turn as despite being a distance away, it was the best of the bunch. I took a lot of photos of birds flitting about in the trees but the light was poor and they were all a bit quick for me.
I'm quite late in posting as I went on a very pleasant evening wildlife walk led by someone from the local natural history society, who happens to be a neighbour. I promised my husband fish and chips when I got home but had difficulty finding a chippy that was open. Managed it in the end, so have had a very late supper.
