Rufus, Rufus, Rufus!

No comment really needed except the restraining order is on the way!

A fabulous Judy concert this evening to open House of Rufus. His voice was really strong and has just seemed to get better and better over the last few times I have seen him live. Apart from the whole concert of course the highlights of tonight included: his sparkly shoes; Martha's rendition of Stormy Weather; having such a fantastic view from the "standing seats" at the back and of course the heart breaking version of Somewhere Over the Rainbow.
Another highlight was catching up with Rufus friends and our stakeout at stage door (and every other possible exit) following the concerts which was planned like a military operation and certainly paid off. He had nowhere to run but was very gracious and spent time signing the various items thrust at him. Swoon!
