It's great to be back.

Today was a fantastic London day. We started off with a full English at are old favourite park cafe. This was followed by a walk to Stoke Newington, including a meander through the cemetery. After that we took the bus to Upper Street, Islington where we bought some clothes for the boys and had tea and cake in Euphorium, one of the best patisseries in town. Next stop was Covent Garden where the kids were enthralled by the street entertainers. I make it sound perfect. It could've been if the kids hadn't spent a lot of the time complaining, messing about and being uncooperative! I was reminded once more how great it would be if me and my husband could have a week in London without the little treasures sometime! However a brainwave on my part turned the mood around. I spotted the build-a-bear shop and suggested we went in. The boys were delighted to choose their bear, select a sound to place inside and dress it. They weren't cheap but the joy they provided was worth every penny. We rounded off the day with pizza and my favourite pizza restaurant "Oregano pizza" in Islington with our friend and lead vocalist in our band. It was just the sort of day I'd be pining for over the last year in Bodrum.
