Shocking!

The life cycle and hive structure of honey bees can apparently be quite surprising :)

Our local Farmers' Market today contained a special exhibit from a honey farmer along with sample honey from the comb. Other than a couple of escapees flying about, the booth was very popular with kids and adults.

Blistering heat (almost 90F) and humidity once again today drove a few bees mad, kept people away from the market, and also resulted in one woman sporting an umbrella, which caused us to start in with Michael Jackson stories...
