Made in Sheffield

No longer operating on Hollis Croft, Footprint Sheffield continues to make tools on a new site near To Sheffield Wednesday Football Ground in Hillsborough. It now seems to have come through the difficulties it experienced during the recession and is once again producing quality tools for export to the US and Canada. If you look closely in large then you should be able to spot the tools of the trade.

The buildings along Hollis Croft now seem to be exclusively used by Sytners, the BMW garage in Sheffield.

It's been the last meeting of our moderators today, so a busy day and it was good to meet up with everyone, though it's also been time to say goodbye to people. I was fairly tired after the meeting so a short walk around the block (so to speak) was an opportunity to get a little fresh air as well as a few photos. This is the last of the city centre for a few days (unless I count Thursday when I go to the studio which is on the edge of town).

A few days to do my own thing now before taking on grandparent duties over the weekend (and next week).
