Wet Monday

My brother is visiting from Wiltshoir this week and staying with my dad so we agreed to meet up in a well-known refreshment spot overlooking Princes Street. We don't often get the chance for a long chat and I think we both appreciated the chance to catch up.

This is the view of the Royal Scottish Academy, complete with visitors sheltering from Edinburgh in July. Whoever was sitting next to me is enjoying a big cookie. I'll get along to the Elizabeth Blackadder exhibition after the festival, when it should be a bit quieter.
