Not a great photo this one, but as i usually only furnish you with a setlist after i've been to a concert, i thought i'd take the old point and shoot with me to a concert in Manchester.
It was a Judas Priest concert, a very belated (three months) birthday present for mr from one of my concert going fans....can't honestly say i'm a big Judas Priest fan but they were very very good.
It occured to me as i watched various members of the audience get out different pieces of tech to film or audio record the concert how far tech and life has moved on since i first went to concerts, there used to be huge signs saying no photography and burly men prepared to beat you up and confiscate your camera at the merest hint of a flash bulb or cassette...
also i realised that my old little 4mp point and shoot is almost obselete, its pictures weak and grainy, and frankly very old fashioned, its five years old and it may as well be an old Victorian plate camera..its ancient history.
Couple that with my reluctance and self consciousness at joining the thronging band of 'souvenir snappers' who regularly spoil my atmos at concerts, and you end up with a dodgly picture like todays offering....
still it'll do for today, and it means i'm nearly back up to date with my snaps..
night all
