Nessie

This is my mother's dog, Nessie.

She is 11 years old, and is slowing down, believe it or not. I wanted to get a shot of her lounging on a gorgeous crocheted blanket, but as soon as I look at her with the camera she goes nuts, running around in circles. Anyone with a terrier would understand this. She is an Australian Terrier/ Jack Russsell cross, and is an amazing fence climber and general escape artist. She was full of energy jumping at a tea towel having a game that I couldn't resist. Not the best location or composition but hats off to her for having so much energy.

She was my desperate Blip tonight. I should have had my camera at running this morning. I did the Jetty to Jetty run in Redcliffe (10km), and the sun was so beautiful lighting up the jetty at sunrise. A gorgeous morning for a run, after a rainy bleak Saturday.
