Friday: Modern Stuff

Let me see.......nothing very interesting to tell you about today, m'afraid. Work was very busy but then Fridays tradtionally are. I have finished this round of shifts now and am off for the next nine days before I start the whole cycle again. It will actually be quite nice to come off working shifts, which I will do in November, and go back to something more normal.

My trip to New York is definitely on so I spent about two hours today wading my way through an impenetrable visa application form. Unfortunately, I don't qualify for the visa waiver programme because it is business..........

Here is a bit of modernity for a change - the Park Plaza hotel near Waterloo.
