....I want you all to know ...."

I always enjoy seeing a number of big vessels on the same stretch of the river, even if it's nothing like the traffic which was typical of the Clyde's heyday as a focus for industry or mass leisure activity.

Here we have the 6.00 p.m.ferry from Ardrossan, two tankers and one of the frequently visiting cruise ships all on the same section of the Clyde, as seen from the String Road, one of two roads which cross the island.
