Beautiful Quinoa

I've used quinoa flour before, but today is the first time that I've actually cooked the whole grains in a pot. I used the same grain (pre-rinsed), water, and salt amounts as with rice. The result pictured here is a nicely textured meal. I was intending for this batch to be entirely for lunch, but I decided to serve it as breakfast, with a little maple syrup drizzled on. The kids quickly cleared out their bowls.

I may cook up another batch and still do quinoa as part of lunch.
