Melon!

Feeling a bit of a melon today!

There I was, struggling to think of what to do for my 200th blip and all I could think of, for what I thought was quite an 'unoriginal' idea, was to show those 200 blips. Then to fill out my words to 200, I spoke of blipfoto and in particular, what I thought was a throw away few words on how I did not understand stars, comments and spotlight.

Imagine my surprise to find myself (still at time of posting) at number one spot in the spotlight page! I am even more perplexed, as for me, it was not exactly what I would consider my best entry and only in fact mirrors how in photography, you never actually know what shot your audience or client is likely to prefer. Shows it only matters to me what I think is the best shot. So maybe it's more about shooting what others want to see and writing what others want to read? There's a lesson for me!

So for everyone that commented, gave me stars and viewed to gain me my first spotlight, I thank you all and apologise to those that I have been unable to reply to. It was my busiest blip day for sure!

I would also like to just say, believe it or not, that I mentioned my confusion at the blipfoto 'system', not in an attempt to manipulate it in any way, which I guess the sceptics will be concluding, but to make up my words to 200 about something it seems many of us are confused with.

So having said yesterday that I, of course, had never hit the spotlight page, I now feel a bit of a melon!
