Gladstone Harbour

Up at the crack of dawn to drive 5.5 hours to Gladstone.

Winter in Queensland and drove through some gorgeous scenery with misty clouds over dams in farm country, but no chance to stop by the highway to get any shots. It also would have been quite chilly.

This afternoon I found my way to the Gladstone Harbour, which sees the end of the Brisbane to Gladstone yacht race every year. It was probably just a little late when I got there but I liked all the yachts contrasted against the refinery.

Quite a gorgeous area, and shame to find it tonight on my last trip here for work.
