Bathtime

It was a glorious day today - nice to actually see some sunshine this summer!

Ethan was up at 5.50am but I was quite organised today and made the most of the early start. We were dressed and ready to go earlier than usual, so I got the en-suited cleaned before we left for nursery / work. Ethan asked for one of the wipes I was using to clean the room and he proceeded to start to wipe the floor with it! Good to see he's helping out at such an early age haha!

Hubbie picked him up and I met the 2 of them in Sainsbury's after work. We had the usual of Ethan wanting to run down different aisles to the ones we wanted and he also kept picking things we didn't want off shelves and trying to put them in the trolley. It's not a good time of night to go shopping with him as he's not as well behaved as in the daytime. However, it seemed to work better than going straight home with him as we didn't have the major meltdown which we've been having from him on recent evenings.

He enjoyed his bath tonight, thank goodness. Especially playing with the water in the watering can - he thinks it's funny to try to catch the water with his hands or put his face in it! He didn't go to bed tonigh till 8pm which is slightly later than usual. When I checked in on him earlier, he was curled up in the corner of the cot - looks a very uncomfortable way to sleep to me but he was sound asleep!
