A Braw Summer Night

Another warm, sunny night, so after spending the day indoors at the desk, we drove up to Kinross for fish and chips and then drove down to Loch Leven and went for a walk down by the water.

Lee and Robyn were helping me identify my blip for today. Lee spotted a lone thistle, so took a few nice close ups of that (really need a macro lens though). Then Robyn spotted a glider from the nearby Scottish Gliding Centre circling up above. Beautiful bright blue sky without a cloud in sight, so got a few shots of the glider too.

But in the end the pair of them provided me with my favourite shot of the day, and possibly one of the best recent pics I have of them both. I had the long lens so they were a fair bit down the track when I shouted to them to turn round.

The smiles disapperared a few minutes later when we got to the little beach. The Scottish Midges were out in force and we didn't hang about much longer. Sitting here scratching away....
