Windowsill flowers

Working from home today, so it was a slog to get through it with my bed being within stumbling distance. I was feeling quite under the weather, partly due to stressing myself out over work but mainly due to a large accumulated sleep deficit. Much of the latter is down to waking up around 4 am every morning regardless of when I fell asleep, due to the dazzling light and the skreeking gulls. There often seems to be dazzling sunlight at dawn even when the rest of the day is big clouds and heavy rain. The gulls wheel around outside for an hour or so making loud racuous cries before they b*gger off to go scavenging.

So with regret I made my excuses to the Edinburgh blipmeet and retired to bed very early indeed.
