Around the globe

I've been intending to blip a picture of the Echinops (Globe Thistles) from my front garden for a while but always decided on an alternative.

However, the most advanced flower is just about going over so wanted to capture the image for today. The hoverfly is a bonus.

Apologies for the focus or lack thereof. It has been blowing a hooley all day here.
