Twa Pehs, An An Ingin Ane An A' *

And it came to pass on this day, that Lord and Lady Findhorn did journey forth to the county of Angus unto the city of Dundee, the birthplace of himself, there to meet with others of the lineage of Parr, and they made feast at the Centre of Contemporary Arts in that fair toon and did exchange news and enjoy camaraderie pertaining to their common genealogy.

And they did walk about the city and note great changes occurring with much building and disruption to traffic, and came upon this huge monument to one of their own, known to the people as Desperate Dan and his wee dug with chained collar, being at one time famous in the journal of 'Dandy', attaining great fame throughout the land, in days of yore.

And did not his Lordship appear strange to the people who spoke in strange tongues thronging the market place with his red trousers and rolled umbrella, unused as they were to those from afar; and were they not sore afraid of the lady with her camera who was seen to kneel on the ground as if in homage to their idol and his wee dug.

So their journey was fulfilled and they did return in the evening to their homeland, well satisfied with their day.

* This is Dundonian patois which translates as - Two pies and an onion one as well.
