Day 28 - The Haro Wet T-Shirt Festival

Yesterday afternoon we arrived in Haro, 'the capital of La Rioja'. (I don't think it's really the capital, but it's where most of the big bodegas are located). If we'd been here the day before we could have taken part in the annual 'throwing wine over each other' festival. Mrs BrB had a chat with some students when we arrived and apparently it was 'brilliant', everybody was just, like, throwing wine and it was brilliant. I can't tell you how gutted I am to have missed the spectacle of people throwing wine over each other. It must have been brilliant.

So here is a blip of some young ladies covered in wine. I did not dream this.
