Not so happy Fourth of July

I worked 12 hours today with a team to park over 60,000 cars for Air Force Academy Fireworks. Despite wearing socks, tennis shoes, and long pants the whole day my feet managed to end up quite dirty. Exhausted, sunburnt, hungry, and sore do not even begin to describe how I feel. Got home super late and have to wake up at 3:30 am. FML. This was by far the worst Fourth of July I have ever had. Someone tell me why I signed up to work this event when I could have sat by the pool with friends and ate hot dogs?
