Everlasting Alliums

We've had these annual growing flowers outside Crafty Towers for three years now. This is the first year they have lasted this long as normally they have blown over, bent and snapped in the wind while they are still flowering. This year Mr Crafty got wise to the alliums and has put stakes into the pots with enough clips to make sure they will still be standing this time next year without having to re-grow.

This Is what they looked like 2 months ago. I might not have green fingers but even I know these are past their prime, I'll give them to the weekend and send them to the great compost bin in the sky.
