Edgy Leaf

This is one of the leaves on a large plant that has its residence in our kitchen. I don't know what kind of plant it is - it's big and occasionally produces a white sort of flat oval shaped flower with a knobbly stem in the middle (not the most helpful description but its the limit of my observational powers on plants).

The rare glimpse of sun we saw today caught the light on one of the leaves - part bright and part shade. On the computer the image became kind of 'edgy' so it's todays blip as it sort of matched the experience of the day.

ps - 12 July - I've now found out from Mrs S that the plant is apparently called a 'peace plant'.
