Too Late

Looks like one swordsman is looking too surrender. But its too late at the other has a blow in full flow of execution.

As in any conflict of any nature, whether armed confilct between nations, a street fight or a debate between husband and wife on what to buy / not buy, there is a point at which surrender works and a point when it is too late and the advantage is pressed home regardless!

This photo is of a re-enactment of medieval jousting and combat at the magnificent Linlithgow Palace. Historic Scotland run 2 weekend events of jousting at Linlithgow - I blipped on knights jousting on horseback last week. Today's event was just as entertaining.
