Rosehip With Flax
I love the bright rosehips against the long, dark flax leaves and often take photos of them, but I think this is the first time I have blipped a shot. Large
Today was cold and wet, with occasional bursts of sunshine. There was no sign of the mountains.
As I see it, the main drawback of a mild winter is mud. Most of the paths in my garden are grassy. In summer they dry out quickly and in winter they are frozen hard. This winter they are soft, slippery mud. I have to walk very carefully.
One year ago: it was cold enough then, judging by the frozen marigold.
