Art and artist.

I've missed two days of blipping. Thursday was the concert. It was a lovely evening with the best bit being the conductor ( chef in Turkish!). He was so over the top, camp and flamboyant, flouncing all over his little podium! After the concert we wandered around Bodrum, which is now completely packed with tourists and grabbed a late night snack and a sneaky vodka.
Friday was a day at home with nothing much to report, although we did take the kids for late night pizza with their Turkish grandma. The town was buzzing, it really comes to life at night time.
Today, after a swim in a friend's pool, we went to visit an artist acquaintance/ friend of Necmi's. He lives on a hill in a nearby village, his home being his studio. The artists name is Rifat and he is quite incredible as he is incredibly talented in painting, wood scuplture, marble sculpture, recycled metalwork etc. It seems he could put his hand to anything.
