An unusual gift --

-- an interesting example of recyling.

This was a lovely, if rather unusual, birthday gift from a lovely friend.

When hung against the window the light comes through the glass sphere held in the prongs of the fork. (Here you can also see me reflected in it)

I normally have it hanging at the kitchen window but when I photographed it in situ the top wasn't very clear so I held it up at the conservatory door. I'm intrigued by the monogram - I wonder who it belonged to.
