after my one hour orientation session for the new adjunct faculty position (which entailed just filling out all of my necessary paperwork--all fifteen pages of it), I went across the street to our city's Water Gardens, an outdoor art project of various pools and trees and concrete structures. took about sixty photos and, as usual, 95% were a wash--fuck you manual focus; does this mean I have eye problems? however, this was the winner.

too tired and still recovering to really type more. now Leah has the funk and is worse off than me and we still need to figure out what we are doing for dinner... Denver plans mostly finalized today, just three more days until we leave. that is all, friends.
