Don't be silly

"Lily, don't be silly.", is a phrase that has stuck in my head from my childhood. I cannot actually remember why, though... oh well! (Large version)

Back garden in rural Scotland, ...there were easier, more photogenic Lilies, (white and pink) to shoot, but I wanted a harder subject, the setting Sun falling on this crimson Lily directly. So I was being silly in a way.

Really happy to be getting back to my trusted DSLR of 7 years. Nikons are known to overexpose brighter areas, I am told. This is apparent in the way, the green buds look?
