What makes someone think that killing themselves & those around them can make anything better?
Nobody who was in central London on 7th July 2005, or saw pictures on television, will forget that day.
52 steel pillars in Hyde Park commemorate the 52 victims.

"Keep Calm & Carry On" has become a glib cliche recently. The families & friends of the victims will always feel their loss, but stoic bloody-mindedness, & a refusal to be cowed, are among the better characteristics of the British. People simply walked home from work, & the next day began getting on with "business as usual".
That in itself exposes the stupid futility of the bombers' actions.
