This week I'm going to do a series about the park near me. The first photo was yesterday

It's a nice little park with all the usual sort of people passing through it - families with children, teenagers visiting the skatepark, dogwalkers and alcoholics to name but a few

I go through it most days - it's the shortest route to the town to shop or to go to the station - and I enjoy walking through a park

Most of the dogwalkers are pretty good about clearing up after their dogs, but you do have to tread a bit carefully, but people of all ages who drink when they're there do seem to have a problem with locating the litter bins

I read somewhere once that it's possible for a can to be back on the shelves with a new drink in it within a fortnight of being recycled, so it seemed to be a good idea to pick them up and make sure they got recycled (I'm not sure the council staff who collect the rubbish have their stuff recycled)

This collection is the product of walking across the park to get some milk at the local shop and back by a slightly different route across the park
