For my Dad

My Dad really enjoys my new found hobby of blipping and has been very keen to help me with my blips whilst I'm at home visiting the North-East.

He is a very proud Geordie and is very knowledgeable about the region. This evening he took me for a drive to a past mining village called Pegswwod which is near Morpeth in Northumberland. In 2010 this bronze figure was erected on the Bothal Roundabout. It has been dubbed Robin of Pegswood and he is standing on a stainless steel girder. The tip is apparently curved into the shape of a bow with the bronze figure firing a "shoveled" arrow from it.

I took lots of photos and played around with the colours etc and tried to make them more arty. However, my Dad liked the above photo which is exactly as we saw it, including the Newcastle United shirt that someone has tried to place on the figure! So this blip is for my Dad.
