Delight

Such a busy day today. At various times last night I woke up thinking of things that I needed to get done today. So, when I got up the first thing I did was write My Little List. This List came to work with me, and not one single item on the list got completed today (I did at least started a couple). As my colleague said "I haven't done anything today". That isn't the case at all - neither of us stopped all day - we just didn't manage to feel that we had achieved anything. An important distinction that many people don't seem to understand.

So I dashed home, grabbed a bite to eat, got changed and dashed back out to school. The wonderful kids at school have been working on their summer show - "Street Beatz". A great combination of dance, junk band and singing, all bang up to date with lots of different styles. They really did themselves proud and over a third of the kids in the school were involved. I came home with a warm glow.

So, I arrived home and realised I had no blip for today. The sky had looked lovely when I drove into the drive so, after chatting to Hubbie for a couple of minutes, I picked up my beloved camera and went into the garden. A couple of minutes too late for the lovely sky. I did climb on the climbing frame and take a few shots, but they really weren't very interesting. So, having struggled with balancing on the bars of the climbing frame in my shoes, I decided that my shoes and feet would be my blip tonight.



And forget not that the earth delights to feel your bare feet and the winds long to play with your hair.
